About the event
Ngima Sherpa, president of our partner organization Okhaldhunga Nine Hill Association, will accompany us on a journey to discover Nepalese culinary tradition at our special fundraising dinner, organized to unite food lovers and those who wish to make a positive impact in the world through Education.
The menu for the evening includes:
- Momo, traditional meat and vegetable dumplings
- Dal Bhat Tarkari, made with lentils and rice
- Chicken Curry with vegetables
- Masala Chai Tea
- Water, wine, and beer included
Although admission is free, your generous donations, which can be made directly at the event, are crucial to reaching our goal of €5,000 for the evening, a step towards our grand goal of €50,000, which will allow us to build a student residence in Chhermading, Nepal (learn more about the project here).
With only 200 seats available, your contribution goes beyond the meal: it is a concrete gesture that allows 50 children to attend middle school, live in a caring environment, and have access to healthy daily meals.
Join us for an evening where every donation helps change lives!
The dinner is hosted by Il Chiostro Solidale, an Association of Social Promotion that supports a community living experience at the former convent of the Capuchin Friars in Cerro Maggiore. Since late 2017, five families have lived here, fostering a lifestyle of solidarity, trust, and simplicity. The community invests in relationships and offers hospitality to those in need, creating a welcoming and supportive environment. The former convent now thrives with the laughter of children and the solidarity of its residents, transforming it into a vibrant hub of creativity and sustainability.
Special guest of the event will be Ngima Sherpa, president of the Okhaldhunga Nine Hill Association, local partner responsible for operations.
